Back to school... No, staying at home!

Starting home schooling is not the end of fun.

We are starting home schooling, this will be our second semester, well, the reality is our best and organized one.  The first semester was more of a finding, discovering and putting together what we have now.

Starting home schooling for me that I have been in traditional schools since I was 4 months old (child care) up to sixth grade feels really great. I get to stay home where I feel very comfortable. I don't need to deal with the morning rush, with teachers that have little control of their classrooms, and I have time to eat breakfast, and lunch and the best part, I get to prepare it myself.

What do I like the most, that I can wake up and do my work instead of waiting to going to school.

I still don't like the fact that there are too many classes, so there is something that never change.

One thing for a change is to see and have my mother as my teacher. It's not that strange for me because I have seen her as the teacher for so many students and I have been involved in her activities, so that's okay with me.

I believe my mother is the best person to teach me because she has been with me my entire life. She knows me best, she knows my strengths and my weaknesses and know exactly how to help me out.

During the time we are learning at home I see her as my teacher. The cool part is that if I say mom by accident (like I did call my female teachers so many times) it doesn't matter because she really is my mom.

There is something I don't like about my mom... gee she is about business and I have to finish all my school work before I can even open my mouth and say VIDEO GAMES that I prefer to be doing instead. I know, I know, I have to study first.

My expectation for this semester: good grades, easy work and continue having fun while I'm learning.
Little Man

About the photo: Me and Rebecca Tirado Muñiz, former classmate of my parents at Ponce High School. One afternoon at Plaza del Caribe Mall in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I get to be part of their high school reunions and they are lots of fun.
